Sample Fix Plan

This is what a $19 Fix Plan looks like. It was generated from a real Shopify store's public DNS, with the domain replaced by yourstore.com. Yours is written for your domain, your email provider and your DNS host, then checked by hand. After you make the changes, we re-check until everything passes.

InboxPass Fix Plan for yourstore.com
Checked 2026-10-14T09:24:49.924Z. Mailbox provider: Google Workspace. DNS host: GoDaddy.

WHAT IS WRONG NOW
- [FAIL] DMARC: No DMARC record
- [WARN] DKIM: No DKIM key at Google Workspace's default selector
- [WARN] Shopify: Shopify store emails may not be authenticated with your domain

WHAT TO CHANGE (in this order)
1. Shopify sender authentication: Shopify admin > Settings > Notifications > Sender email. Set the sender to an address at yourstore.com (for example [email protected]), click "Authenticate", and add every CNAME it lists (usually mailerNN, s1._domainkey, s2._domainkey) at GoDaddy. Copy the values exactly. Then click "Verify" in Shopify. It can take up to 24 hours.
2. DMARC: add a TXT record with host "_dmarc" and value:
   v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:[email protected]; fo=1
   After 2 to 4 weeks of clean reports, change p=none to p=quarantine.
3. DKIM for Google Workspace: admin.google.com > Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail > Authenticate email > Generate new record (2048-bit, prefix "google"). Add the TXT record it shows at GoDaddy, wait 1 hour, then click "Start authentication".

WHERE TO CLICK AT GODADDY
Sign in at dcc.godaddy.com > My Products > your domain > DNS > Manage DNS > Add New Record. For the Name field, GoDaddy wants only the part before your domain (for example "_dmarc", or "@" for the root).

AFTER YOU'RE DONE: reply to this email and I'll re-check yourstore.com. If anything is still failing, I'll send you the correction.
